Father/Son Coffee&Pancakes || Blaine&Steve

A wide grin spread across Blaine’s face at the thought of sharing coffee and pancakes with his eldest Son, he was a little annoyed that he’d have to go out and buy pancakes rather than be able to indulge in the beautiful pancakes Kurt makes.Soonhe mused to himself, he knew Kurt’s flight was getting in late tomorrow evening, and Blaine had planned to pick him up from the Airport, armed with flowers, chocolate, and the promise of aproperhome welcoming gift. He smirked at the thought, but turned his attention back to the promise of Lima Bean coffee. Jumping off the sofa, he quickly made his way to the kitchen to grab his keys, and, already dressed, headed out of the house and jumped into his car, making good time to get to town and back. Once he got into town, he parked up and jumped out of the car, locking it with the key zapper as he made his way inside.

Instantly glad it was a Sunday, the coffee shop was relatively empty so Blaine was served pretty much straight away. He ordered his usual of a medium drip, and decided on getting a medium mocha for Steve, playing it safe because he’d completely forgotten to ask his Son what he’d wanted. Finishing up the order with four pancakes (just in case they got peckish later on), he paid the barista and shuffled back out to the car, balancing the pancakes on top of the coffee.

Making his way back home, he let his mind slip back to the thought of Kurt’s return tomorrow, and he ran his mind over the more…intimate things his return would mean. He shook it from his mind once more as he pulled up on the driveway, and jumped out of the car, dragging the coffee and pancakes with him. Pushing open the door, he shouted into the house, “Steve, you in here?”

You’re being an idiot, Quinn. I’m not even going to bother sugar coating it, because apparently that doesn’t work either. 

When are you going to suck up and take responsibility? Okay you made a mistake, but just upping and leaving isn’t going to change that. You need to face it, or it’ll just eat you up for the rest of your life.
